When Underground Graphics took delivery of it's Mini JCW, it had no stripes.  Travesty!  However, after months of working directly with a local dealer, we've recreated several OEM style kits.  The hood stripes

for the Cooper were among our favorites.  Now available in two formats allowing countless color options.

DESIGN OPTIONS:

1 — DIE-CUT  (you are on the correct item link)

The die-cut option is a simple, single color version cut from colored wrap vinyl.  Each stripe will have both positive and negative pieces cut from the stripe.  Yes, this means lots of small intricate pieces.  But, have no fear, this lays down as one piece and is cut from premium cast wrap vinyl.

2 — DIGITAL PRINT  (click here of the digital-print version item link)

The digital printed version allows for multi-color printing on a single contour-cut stripe (none of the tiny pieces).  Pick two colors, a top and a lower.  This option also allows for a choice of either gloss or satin laminate.

COLOR OPTIONS

Hood stripes are typically done in a single color; Satin Black is our recommended choice.  However, if you've chosen Digital Print, the options are endless.  We can only print opaque colors so unfortunately no pearls, no metallics and no paint matching.  But we can print a full spectrum of CMYK and PMS values. We've listed our most popular options.

CUSTOM OPTIONS

Make it yours!  We can add custom text, a logo, or even edits to your stripe.  Custom orders will require an email render approval before production.  ALL CUSTOM ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY PHONE OR EMAIL.  Additional fees may apply.

MATERIAL & FITMENT

Graphics are cut from premium cast wrap vinyl (3M 2080, Avery SW900, Orafol 970RA) and are cut to shape.  Digital printed vinyl is 3M IJ180MC with a cast laminate.

Mini hood stripes are available for all 25+ Cooper HT models (2-dr, 4-dr and convertible)

INSTALLATION - DRY INSTALL RECOMMENDED

Our wrap vinyl uses air-release adhesive and is designed with micro-compliant properties to make installation easier and help eliminate air bubbles.

While these kits are designed with the DIY installer in mind, we always recommend using a professional wrap installer if you're uncomfortable with the installation process.

Each kit includes pre-mask and a felt-lined plastic squeegee to help with installation.
