Underground Graphics Vinyl Colours

Underground Graphics have a range of 17 colours of gloss vinyl that are available from stock.  We also stock several specialty colours including day glow yellow, reflective white, mirror chrome, carbon fibre and etched.

Please note the colors in the download are provided as a guide only, they can never be 100% accurate due to variations in screen and printer settings etc.

If you want to see a sample please send a stamped, addressed envelope to the address on our Contact page with a note stating which colours you require.

Please note that vinyl is different to paint in that there are only 54 colours in the range we use.  They cannot be matched to a vehicle paint code although we can usually always supply a shade that is close enough to achieve the desired effect.

Specialty Colours

Most specialty vinyl does not have the same durability and resistance to fading that the regular gloss vinyl does.  This means that while it can be used to stunning effect on a show car it does not last as long as the gloss vinyl and can start to fade and scratch.  In most cases decals made from specialty vinyl will last 12 months if you take extra care with them but this is not guaranteed.  We feel it is important to let you know this before you buy.

• Day Glow Vinyl - We can supply Day Glow Yellow vinyl for Subaru WRC Graphics but cannot source a supplier who makes Day Glow for external use with UV protection.  This means the vinyl will fade when exposed to sunlight.  There will be no issue if your car is always garaged when not in use.  The Day Glow looks stunning when fitted - this photo was taken at dusk with no flash!
• Etched Vinyl - The adhesive on the etched vinyl is not quite as strong as is used on the gloss vinyl.  This means it is best used for decals that will be fitted indoors or on the inside of a window.  We supply a lot of etches for PC cases and for club web address stickers.
• Reflective Vinyl - Our reflective vinyl is the same grade as is used on emergency vehicles.  It is rated for 3-5 years outdoor use. 
• Carbon Fibre Vinyl - We use the most realistic carbon fibre vinyl available.  It is based on a metalic foil weave and is very realistic even when viewed up close.  Being a metallic vinyl it's realistic lifespan is 12 to 24 months when used outdoors.  Metalic foil vinyls are best suited to logos rather than large pieces like side graphics or sunstrips as it will not curve around body panels or windscreens.
• Chrome Vinyl - We use a heavy weight foil/polyester chrome vinyl which has a perfect mirror finish. Lower cost chrome vinyl is very flimsy and will fade and scratch easily. Expect a 12 to 24 month lifespan when used outdoors.
• Removal - The adhesive on the Day Glow and Reflective vinyl is very strong so extra care is required when fitting and it is advised that a chemical release agent [fancy name for industrial tar and glue remover] is used when removing the vinyl.  Contact us for details or to purchase some Rapid Remover to dissolve the glue residue.
